Experience. Terry has more than 34 years of experience representing individuals and a variety of businesses throughout all phases of Trust, Business and Real Estate Litigation, including trials and appeals, mediation and arbitration.

Terry has been honored as a California Super Lawyer and has achieved a “Preeminent-AV” rating, the highest indicator of a lawyer's ethical standards and professional ability, based on evaluations from his peers and from the judiciary. Values. Terry has a strong belief that, whatever the merits of a dispute, far too often only the lawyers come out ahead. That is why before a case is filed and throughout the litigation process, Terry looks for opportunities to achieve a constructive resolution which is negotiated from a position of strength. Terry received his Juris Doctor from Whittier College School of Law and is one of a small handful of |
lawyers admitted to practice without the benefit of having attended an undergraduate college.
Professional Affiliations. Terry’s professional affiliations include the California, Los Angeles County and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations and their respective Trust, Litigation and Real Property Sections. Terry is the President of the Conejo Valley Estate Planning Council and a member of the Woodland Hills Tax and Estate Planning Council. Community Involvement. Terry is a frequent speaker on various legal topics and has served as a judge pro tem at the Beverly Hills Court and a volunteer arbitrator for the Los Angeles Superior Court. Terry is a Group Leader for ProVisors, the preeminent professional network operating throughout the state. He is a past Board of Directors member for Shane’s Inspiration, a nonprofit devoted to making playgrounds accessible to all. Personal Notes. Terry has four adult children and (so far) three grandchildren whom he adores. He is an avid golfer and gym-rat, a voracious reader, and an aficionado of old time movies who knows that a good sense of humor goes a long way toward having a great day. |
